I was invited by a friend of a friend to tag along on a photo shoot yeasterday with the local band Tabu. We went out into the Slovenian countryside near Postojna. The weather could not have been more perfect, except it was really, really cold! I have to say that band members did a great job considering how cold it was, photo shoots can be tough and the band were real troopers!
The fried of a friend is Jaka Vinšek and it was an absolute privileged to hang out and work with him yesterday. He is an immensely talented photographer and is off shortly to start his new job as First Assistant to another famous photographer in NYC. I feel very lucky that he made the time to invite me along; very generous indeed. I can’t begin to say how much fun I had yeasterday, I totally love the spontaneity and creativity that happens on guerrilla style shoots. Such a blast.
