When Slovenia proclaimed independence from Yugoslavia, there were 200,000 non-Slovenians living in the new country, including many citizens from other former Yugoslav republics. An estimated 25,000 were cast into a bureaucratic black hole, leaving them with no identities. Ljubljana, Slovenia, 02/11/2009.

A few pics from Rijeka, Croatia. Based on a suggestion from a friend of mine, I will be using my 50mm prime f1.8 lens for the foreseeable future for all my ‘tourist’ photos. I’m working on being more deliberate with my photography and working on some of my fundamentals.
