Hi Aunt Shirley!
Great to hear from you and so glad to hear that you enjoyed your trip to SA! It's an amazing place. Travel is a great, but coming home is always wonderful as well. You were gone for quite a while I think? Hope your reentry goes OK, keep an eye out in 2-3 weeks which is usually when re-entry blues tend to hit.

The photo on the top of the blog is from Tanzania, a place called Piaya which is roughly between the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Here is a link to another similar photo:

Tanzania is very different kind of place, but if you went there you might be struck by a sense of "the same but different"!

Glad you got to see some wild animals!
Love

That's a beautiful photo David--where is that located? We just returned from S Africa. It is a beautiful country. They tell me Tanzania is very beautiful too. I thought the sad part were all those fences and wire and electricity! But the countryside is so pretty...and to see wild elephants, zebras, giraffes, other animals was awesome!

Beautiful, yes, but I am glad to be home and in the USA. Your comments and photos on facebook are interesting.....

Love,
